Webinars and Masterclasses

Introduction

At IPN, we offer expert-led webinars and masterclasses to help small and mid-sized NGOs in India build knowledge and connect with experts across various Organisation Development areas like Fundraising, Talent, M&E, Compliance, etc (and not sector specific themes like Education, Health, etc).
Our virtual sessions are designed to be practical and accessible, with options in English and regional languages. We focus on sharing real-world insights and fostering collaboration among nonprofits and sector experts.

Relevant for

Formats

Our sessions follow two core formats:

Webinars

Webinars are open, pro-bono sessions lasting 1.5 hours (60 mins content + 30 mins Q&A), typically engaging 75–100 NGOs.
These are of the following types:
Topic-Specific Learning Sessions: Practical, skill-focused sessions on areas like M&E, storytelling, compliance, and program design etc. ()
Use Case Sessions: Focus on a specific challenge within a broader topic area. E.g. within donor communication – what makes a strong communications strategy. ()
Panel Discussions: Multi-speaker sessions offering diverse insights on a core theme or challenge in the sector. ()
Donor/Funder Talks: Funders share their perspective on funding, proposal writing and tips to strengthen NGO applications ().
Market Trend Briefings: Decode timely sector developments and their impact. E.g., Social Stock Exchange, changes in CSR/FCRA regulations. ()
Peer Learning: NGOs share their journeys, innovations, and honest learnings to inspire and inform peers. ()

Masterclasses

Masterclasses are paid interactive workshops for 10–20 participants. These 2-hour sessions focus on hands-on skill-building with practical tools, templates, and frameworks. ()

verified-account
Both formats are accessible to all users, whether they are registered on IPN or not. (For IPN registered users, the event registration form is pre-filled with data from their profile.)

What we don’t support

One-off promotions or launches: We do not host events solely to promote a product, platform without an NGO learning or engagement component.
Standalone fundraising appeals: We don’t host events focused on raising funds for specific NGOs or causes.
Events without clear capacity-building value: We prioritise sessions that offer practical, actionable value for nonprofits—especially small to mid-sized NGOs.
In-person or hybrid events: All IPN-hosted sessions are virtual to ensure accessibility across geographies. We do not currently support formats that are in-person or hybrid model.
