Based on our experience in the last two years, we see the following types of partners (not all mutually exclusive) engaging with nonprofits on IPN:

1. Capacity Building Intermediary

An organisation that offers Nonprofit Capacity Building related trainings and programs to nonprofit orgs or individuals. This includes entities like:

2. Service Provider

An organisation that offers Nonprofit Capacity Building related services to organisations or individuals. This includes entities like:

Service Providers are listed on the . They may also be featured in the “Recommendations” section of IPN Assessments (shown to users who complete an Assessment).

3. NGO Network

An organisation or collective that works with a network of NGOs (in a geography, on a specific theme, or in an initiative). This category includes entities like:

Such networks leverage IPN to onboard new NGOs and to channel capacity building resources to the organisations in their network.

Relevant Engagements

NGOs on IPN can be tagged to one or more “network”. This allows such partners to receive information about how the organisations in their network are engaging on IPN.

4. Donor Network

An organisation or collective that offers a Capacity Building (or unrestricted) fund to a network of NGOs. This includes entities like:
